The Honorable PO hails originally from upstate New York. He first got hooked on hip hop around late 1985,early 1986. During this time his brother would be playing all of the classics in his boom box. For you original heads, I'm talkin' bout Mantronix,Just-Ice,T La Rock,Treacherous Three,Early Boogie Down Productions(Criminal Minded)...feel me? PO began to write while in junior high'87.What made him pick up producing was him being in studios with people who did not make beats the way he heard them in his head. He started teaching himself how to make beats on his friend's Dr. Rhythm drum machine around '91. 16 years later, he is still in the game doing what he does best.....hip hop in the purest form. From samples snatched and chopped up to hitting staircase-walking basslines, PO still sticks to the tried and true formula of"keeping it simple but effective".
