[color="red"][/color] I was born in 1977 in the killing field of Laos. My family of 8 siblings survived through the Vietnam War. We came to the United States of America in October of 1982. Our family was the first Asian family to be placed in North side, Minneapolis projects housing of Minnesota. We as a family is strong mentally we helped each other out with everything. We kept each other motivated to have a better life. Within years my family managed to purchase a new home. Thanks to my hard working father and always caring beautiful mother. As a young child watching MTV rap music on T.V. I was influenced by many of the artists like DJ Quick, Hi C, and the pioneer of rap NWA. Since, than music has always been in my heart and mind. North Minneapolis is the city I grew up. My childhood experience was rough with drugs and gangs. I have to maintain to think positive. In the early 90’s me, and my friends formed a group called “Lao Boyz” affiliates with the Bloods. Mid 90’s I began to encounter with the law. At the age of fourteen I was heavily involved into gangs activities. I was interview by the local news anchor about my life of crime documentary title “Don at 16”. The documentary was aired nationally on Public Broadcast Station (PBS). My life of crime continued. I was at a wedding, and I encounter some rival gang. Then all of a sudden shots were fired and bullets were exchange. People got injured and I was on Headline News on pending charges of 2nd degree attempted murder. During my incarceration I was fighting my attempted murder case. While behind bars, I became a good friend with a cellmate. He gave an advice to me, because he noticed my talents for writing lyrics. He motivated me into music and from that point on I started to write music. Buddha blessed me with a second chance of life. My attempted murder case was drop. I took advantage of what was granted to me, and I focus more on my music career. I gain access to the music studio within months. I released my first album title “Three headed elephants” which sold over three thousands copies nation wide. I have a lot of good feed about my music. Which inspired me to continued to on with my music. My popularity got some of the local promoter attention. I was sponsored to perform my music in Oklahoma State, Virginia, Houston Texas, Riverside Ca. It was the start of my hip hop shows out of Minnesota. It was a great experience and people other than Minnesotan show their love and support. Once my music aired nation wide. I released my 2nd album (Fast Life) because of my 1st album success. My life was moving forward in the right direction. I also opened a concert show for International Thailand star singers such as (Loso, Katreeya English, Pamela Bowden, etc. I also opened for Nationally known BET freestyle winner Jin “The M.C” Within years my performance was recognized I would then collaborate with a lot of local artist. Asian communities throughout the 50 States and International have heard of me. On January, 20, 2007. I was nominated for the twin cities first annual hip-hop as (The Best kept Secret) and WON the AWARD. I made History to be the first Asian hip-hop artist to WIN an AWARD in Minnesota. To my fans and family that showed me love. In return, I will do my best to give them 100% of my quality music from the bottom of my heart. I’m now ready to released my 3rd album as of Spring 2007.(Time to pay the Pryce!) I'm also gonna be feature in the first issue of LAO ROOTS magazine in April. I'm also STARING in a MOVIE called (Praschan requiem) base in FRENCE and also Doing a SONG for the SOUNDTRACK. My inspiration is to succeed in my music career. I will do what ever it takes to put myself as an admired to my fans. May Buddah bless me with my success and blow it up big! It time for a change and have a real Asian Emcee represent in the game!
