Da Truth was born and raised in Brownsville,TN. He started pursuit of his dream of one day becoming a hip hop mega star in April of 2000 as a member of a then two man group Da White Boyz where he was signed to a small deal in 2005 with Street Fame Music out of Atlanta,GA. He soon realized that both were big setbacks in his pursuit of this dream. So with a renewed dedication he returned home to Brownsville to pursue a solo career. Shortly after he united with a long time friend to form the group known as Da Truth & Yung Writer. Now this group has their sights set on a run at greatness. Yung Writer Neichi a.k.a "Ghostwriter" was born in Brownsville, TN; a small town outside of Memphis, TN. He started rapping at the age of 9. He was first noticed performing with the teenage group: "Twisted Mindz". At the age of 20, he moved to Nashville, TN where he immediately started a solo career. Some of his inspiration comes from known artists such as: Jay Z, Lil Wayne, 2 Pac, Biggie, & Juelz Santana. At the age of 21, he feels that he is invisible as a young performer.
