Bio
Still the best Real White Rapper in L.A. Google "DP Wesside" to purchase complete 14 song album on many digital sites, including: www.payplay.fm/DP for 77cents downloads DP hit the streets of the L.A. music scene from 2000-2004, culminating with performances on Hollywood's Sunset Strip and in Inglewood, at the Hollywood Park and Casino. After 2004, DP tired of the game, leaving this cd as his "voice to the world". But a comeback is imminent. "It is my genuine hope that as many as God allows will hear this music to know the story of DP, and more importantly to hear my message to hip-hop and others worldwide, especially the youth." Oh, and "EVERYBODY always liked my raps", so "sit back relax and follow my flow".... DP was raised in Texas, spent his college years in Hawaii, and moved to Los Angeles in 1999. His talent for rap was soon discovered by an infamous street producer in the world-famous "west coast rap headquarters" of Inglewood, CA. DP quickly became "the white rapper", cutting his chops in garages and on the streets of Inglewood, as he was mentored by Professor Funk and the Funkklann, a group that had been "at the game for 15 years". After having some close calls with record execs, but never landing that perfect deal, DP set out with Professor Funk to form Wesside Cali Entertainment. But struggle and deception in the rap game ensued, including DP being falsely accused and sent to LA County jail for accepting a bad check from a client. As his cd claims on one song, he will go to his grave NOT GUILTY. Through the struggle, DP turned to the Lord, and was only made stronger in his walk with God. This album is not just a musical release with a spiritual journey years in the making, it is real life. We pray that the youth of the world will hear this! THIS CD IS ONE-OF-A-KIND, the enemy has kept it down, and YOU can pick it up for a fair price, and tell your friends! This stubborn rapper never wanted to sign away his dream to anyone!
