Biography (Streets Da Kidd) Out of the Eastside of New Orleans LA. Comes one of the most talented rappers from his Area…Streets. His career began at the age of 16, now he is 18. But at the age of 16 Streets was performing at local teen clubs for exposure to get his music out in the real world. But once moving to Mississippi, in the Westside of Moss Point, he formed a group by the name of Young Mafia, but a terrible disaster caused Young Mafia to fall apart and led Streets and his mother to move up towards Shreveport LA. With him not knowing his career was really about to pop off. He began his career making tracks on his computer, but feeling like that wasn’t enough he started working on a mix tape which included only five tracks, passing them out at school and around the city, he began to see the reaction from others in his surroundings and it was all good. He then began dropping numerous mix tapes back to back. Getting so much of a good response from the people who resided in the Shreveport area, he would listen to word of mouth around the city about local talent searches and few talent showcases, and he would enter them within a drop of a dime. He then began to address the fact that people would question him asking are you in it for the money, and he would respond quickly stating that I am not in it for the money only the exposure. Then Streets hit the road early to spread his music in Shreveport and also outside of Shreveport, not knowing his dreams were yet to become bigger, getting calls from different producers and artists wanting to collaborate on tracks with him, and some labels wanting him to sign on, but with Streets having the right mind he told his self that U don’t jump on the first opportunity u see or get. But with that being said he was still more than happy to collaborate with different artists, and Streets still maintains to do his thing in the rapping industry hoping to get discovered by the right person soon. His hard work and dedication brought him out of the trials and tribulations that has affected him throughout his rapping career. He feels as if his music is a testament to the revival of New Orleans and the people who live in it.
