Following in the footsteps of his mother Audrey, who was a regular singer in churches in the Midlands, Nathan began singing in school when he was but a wee boy. From competitions, to choirs, he loved to sing and perform. A couple of years passed after the death of his father when Nathan seemed to lack direction. After meeting the lady who is now his wife, he gained focus, and started to perform in public again. After performing various music genres in his act, gigging at parties and on the circuit, he felt unfulfilled with the songs he sung. He felt an affinity to Soul and Motown music, and this music suited him. There went, rehearsing, researching, and working every hour on learning material, artists, and expanding his knowledge of these great genres of music Nathan has always felt the importance of performing the classic songs he does with style, quality, professionalism and most of all, entertainment. He wants the audience to love listening as much as he does singing them. He is still young in music terms, but has a good experience of various venues and audiences which is invaluable, having performed at places such as Pontins in Prestatyn, Haven in Hafan-y-mors, Queens hotel in Chester, clubs in Staffordshire, Manchester, Chester, Wales as well as private functions throughout the country. After impressing a former member of the chants with a chance meeting at a gig, this further supported the thinking that, in a genre which is harder for a white man, Nathan Brad is the real deal.
