Bio
As the son of a Motown recording artist, Show seems to have been born with music in his soul and raised to the sound of a beat. Given the oppurtunity to experience the recording process of musical legends such as George Clinton, Alexander O'neil, Norman Whitfield, Kid frost, Trey Stone, and Keith Washington, Show absorbed all he saw and heard. With the advantages of growing up in such a rich musical enviroment, he began experimenting with all aspects of the industry at a very early age. Show pinned his first rhyme at five, and recorded his first song, along side George Clinton, shortly thereafter. Growing up in Los Angeles, Show always set himself apart from his peers. His command of words, advanced flow, and infectious microphone presence made him as unique then, as they do today. With a list of hip hop inspirations that span the country, it is no wonder that Show fits comfortably on a track from any region. His versatility has allowed him to work with artists from the east coast like Vincent Lane, the UK like LeEo, and the Midwest like Naledge, with the same level of comfort that he uses working with west coast artists such as Smigg Dirtee, I-Rocc, JCIN, and CG. After seeing his brother "G" start "Indagame Records", Show along with long time friend Ghost, opened Real Life Muzik in 2003 as an independent record label. Show quickly got to work signing some of the best in underground hip hop. With a roster featuring artist such as JCIN, Vincent Lane, MG The Future, Steezo, and Ghost, Real Life Muzik has put its stamp on the game. Stepping to the plate as the Real Life Captain, Show dropped the underground classic "Show Business" in 2004. Since then he has spent a majority of his time focusing on projects from the other Real Life Artists. Keeping his skills sharp, Show has been featured on numerous albums and mixtapes, including Vincent Lanes "The idENTITY", and the UK's top free agent, LeEo's "In Concrete." Eager to prove that lightning can strike twice, Show is currently back in the booth working on his highly anticipated, currently unamed, album. This album promises to display Show's growth as a man and as an artist. So, what does the future hold for Real Life Muzik? Who knows, but with Show at the wheel, Hip-Hop is in for one hell of a ride.
