Drei has to be one of the south's best kept secrets when it comes to songwriting and music production. Born and raised half of his life in San Francisco, he declares that the 80's were the year that music was music. He developed a love for music at the age of 5 when he began to play drums, now that love has blossomed into a full blown love affair. Spending time in New York & Florida had an impact on him musically, learning different things and how the east was making music helped. Now residing in the dirrty south, he has meshed together all that he has heard and learned, he's created his own sound. He was music director at his first recording at the age of 18 and from then on has never turned back. He has played for many noteables like Vicki Winans, Marvin Sapp, Bilal, Jesse Powell & 112. He has produced more than 30 projects since the age of 18 and has toured and been music director for countless live recordings and concerts. With the launching of his new company, he will be featuring new and upcoming artists, kenisha harris, praize unlimited, & the S.O.U.L.MATIK jazz band.
