After the untimely death of his father two years later he took hip-hop more serious by joining with childhood friend “Broadway”, who produced tracks. Stix stated in a Nashville local newspaper, “Rap is the only way I can release my stress through life.” Within a couple of years Stix had to made a regional buzz for himself in the music industry by dropping 5 Southern Entertainment Award nominated mix-tapes. He is also a must have feature for any new up and coming artist around Tennessee and the rest of the U.S. compliments to his 200,000 spins on his internet myspace music page. After a couple of deals Stix has finally found a home with the brand new but accomplished independent label N.V-US Entertainment.
