HucareZ is made up of five local guys that all have their day jobs to take care of but like to play music as well! The song: Written and produced locally, is dedicated to the people of Oman to give them morale and spiritual support to help them recover from flood damage caused by cyclone Gonu that hit the country on the 6th of June 2007. ‘Sultans of the Brave’ is a tribute to all the Forces, ROP, Hospital staff, volunteers and friends that were out there helping those in need. The brave people of the Sultanate! The ‘Sultans of the Brave’ ALL proceeds of the song will go to the charity society Dar Al Atta’a who had volunteers out within hours driving through very difficult conditions getting supplies out to people for days. Future charity events featuring the band are planned once the country is back on its feet. The twist in the song’s ending when it switches to African / Latin is chosen that way to send the message that there is hope, we can celebrate the near future, it will be ok !
