About Yung .."To Be or Not To Be?" That is the question for rap's newest unsigned sensation Ray'mon Brown aka Yung straight out of Newport News, Virginia. Establishing his name with his first mix tape entitled "The Never Ending Battle: Volume 1". his songs ripped the radio markets by getting radio play in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Returning home and taking the title of "rookie" off of his chest in 2004, he went back into the nitty-gritty to study the rap fundamentals, on how to crush the music industry. Taking time to study for his raps, he establish YG Records in late 2004, to maintain his spot in the music biz executive level. Seeing his label jump off on the right foot, in 2005 he returned to the studio to work on his latest project "Holla At Me!: Mix tape Volume One", seeing his rep soar for the anticipation, and 50 Cent's "Massacre" being released the same time as his mix tape, he decided to stir a little trouble in the rap game soup. His song entitled "G-A-N-G-S-T-ER" was a response to a rude comment about his hometown in 50 Cent's "Ski Mask Way", seeing this was the marquee song of the mix tape, he delayed the release date so it would fall 2 weeks after 50's "Massacre" hit stores. While the nation heard "Ski Mask Way", and with "G-A-N-G-S-T-ER" rising like wildfire, these two rappers are sure to cross paths in the future. With the success of that song, and the mix tape he was able to claim his title of "The New King of VA". With an internet and mainstream rep that is surely to rise and the numerous projects with his own label, fellow label "Escovator Records", and headlining a fall tour.
