I'm a guitarist/percussionist/Composer/songwriter, living and working in Cornwall England.My original music is a mixture of ambient and ethnic influences fused with 70s style rock. Pop music it aint. I like depth and complexity, Jungian Psychology ,shamanism, magic and the shadowy coils of the unconscios mind. I tend to write about relationship and growth and healing. I find great beauty in the depths of the human psyche ( soul.) I performed all parts on both of the albums i'm promoting here, multi tracking and layering overdubs like ya do on projects like this. I love this kind of creative process because i always feel that i'm not entirely in control of where the track wil end up, so to speak. I write lyric and perform from the " stream of consciousness " perspective. On a more mundane level,I play covers in pubs and clubs which I still enjoy after some 20 yeas of doing it! I own some lovely guitars which i enjoy taking out to various types of gigs. My Gretcsh for the sit down Jazz/Blues gigs, my 75 Strat in the spit and sawdust venues where i'm gonna have to rock. I've done a lot of band, duo and solo work over the 15 years i've been a pro player, quite a bit of session and production work too. Inflences include Joni Mitchell, Shawn Colvin, Suzanne Vega and suchlike. On the guitar front... Love Dave Gilmore, Mark Knopfler, Eric Johnson, Robben Ford , Bill Nelson and Peter Haycock. I like Indian music a lot and have always enjoyed western/Indian fusion wherever it appears.
