A suicidal maniac, born and bred in various parts of Queens; and homeless shelters throughout Brooklyn who is geared towards real hip-hop. Cozgrove developed an actual adulation for many genres of music, especially hip-hop, thanks to his older sister being a huge fan of the LEGENDARY DJ Stretch Armstrong show hosted by Bobbito and Lord Sear on WKCR in the early 90's, he prides himself upon making quality music in the vein of the older generations. Unlike many of you, who are in they're 20's and who have completely given up on the genre, he still emulates the great emcee's of his era which included the likes of Wu-tang, Biggie and Nas and legendary underground emcees who never recieved they're true recognition. Something completely different is what this melancholy character brings to the table, something never heard before. Instead of shoulder leaning and campbell's soup being embraced by the new york streets, wtf happened to the MOP's and onyx and LB ish we used to love huh ? Wtf happened to the violence in music instead of pseudo thugs portraying a role and fronting with rented cars in their videos and exploiting scantily clad women. Hip-hop isnt dead ladies and gentleman, but its on life support with someone about to pull the plug and Cozgrove actually is a step in the right direction. Just as with many things in the history of our culture, ppl fear the unknown...well, if you have a heart bigger than a fly'z scrotum you need to give em a listen dummy.Its been a long and difficult journey for this drug addict/alcoholic, but he still continues to get high and bring you his life. The lyrics are TRUE which he speaks, and so heartfelt you can feel his pain and emotion in every bar he recites. Much love to those who continue to support, and i intend to decapitate the craniums of those who have turned they're backs. Anywayz, underground indie hip-hop is alive and kicking rite here, still intact with your great granny on my jockstrap.
