Bethony "Beka" Kay Riedel has been part of the Western New York movement along with Tha Empyre Inc. for about 4 years now. Everyone you hear on this page is part of Tha Empyre, which is an independent label, but are also solo artists, and are unsigned artists. Beka has been singing/recording for appx. 5 years. She has in the past, worked with a few local groups, but now calls Empyre home, as she feels the work ethic is one of the strongest in the area. Beka has performed at venues such as Buffalo Memorial Auditorium, Casa Montego in Lockport, NY, and has opened up for artists such as Jagged Edge, as well as funding shows independently along with Tha Empyre, and a former group and current affiliate, The Untouchables. Beka is currently a member of TAXI, in the process of internet promotion (via SYM, MySpace, etc.), will be performing in Jamaica at a major charity event on March 31st of 2007, and is in the process of recording her debut album, "First Things First", recording a streets tape along with the rest of Tha Empyre, and will be recording her own streets tape of r&b songs over popular hip hop beats.
