Mysta aka Damien Townsend was born in Cincinnati Ohio. Quickly he was influenced by the sounds of the street and over whelmed with presence of drugs and violence in the community. At the age of 11,Mysta along with his brother and three close friends created a group called “Young Hustlas”. Even then they were performing shows in the apt complex were they reside down in the community center. By being so young and having no one to guide them, people saw that and took advantage of the young group. People claiming to know the business giving false promises of studio time. Soon the group saw that they were being used and dropped out of the deal. Shortly after that the group had split ways and became older. Now Mysta Age 26 has finally made it known that he wants to finished what he started so long ago. Growing up around drugs, women, cars and the police,mysta knows all to well about the ghetto and fast money which he puts in his rap. Known around town to the ladies as “Playboyjr” he is known to be a smooth charmer and a sweet talker. The “Hood” has waited a long time for mysta to drop his album. They have been pushing for it. Finally he’s doing it having performed shows at many local night spots and featured on many artist albums such as Vex,Broken family etc. What Mysta brings to the stage is hypeness lots of energy with a flow that unheard of out of nobody in the industry.
