[color="blue"][b]Straight Gutta Records Presents[/b][/color] [color="darkblue"][b]TELLIE [/b][/color] [color="darkblue"]Growing up in the streets of Oakland California, with no place to live and pumping gas for spare change just to provide a roof over the heads of his mother and his siblings. Tellie begin to express his thoughts on paper. Tellie begin rapping and writing music in 1990. Five years later in 1995 after Tellie realized that he had a lot to say and people was actually listening and relating, he decided to go in to the studios and start recording. When Tellie was asked what do you wish to accomplish in your rap music and being a rapper? Tellie’s response was, First of all I’m not a rapper I am an artist, and second I don’t look at it as being just rap music I look at it as a talent, and what better way to reach the young mind and old minds alike than with music. I feel I have a lot to say about growing up in the streets seeing things I shouldn’t have seen and then prevailing above it all and not falling victim to the streets. I believe with my music I can change the life of one person who may me on the wrong path. Even though I might make party songs or club bangers some where in my song and or hook there is a message that needs to be heard. And I am patiently waiting for my day where I can let my words out in to the world. But in the mean time I will continue to touch the minds of those who I now come in contact with and express my daily life in to my music. With that said Tellie is ready to take his music to another level. He is ready to put in the long hours and the hard work that comes along with territory. His music is his life, and his life is his music.[/color]
