My name is C.j. and I am “Down 2 Earth” and I am 26 years old. I am a one man band that writes, creates, sings, produces, masters and everything else imaginable for my own work. After about five years of the band scene, my band broke up and I had a vision on a new style of music that I wanted to create that no one has ever really heard. I never could find any other musicians that I felt had my same aspects and visions of the direction I wanted to go in so I went on my own, and tried the new sounds and experimentations I had always wanted to try. I live here in Columbus Georgia, where there is no acceptance for my music by many. I am trying very hard at getting something out there that no one has ever heard, with styles of electronic, emo, hip-hop, and a little rock, I think it is a first of its kind. I am the type of person that has music in his heart “TRULY” I need it everywhere I am, I need it walking down the street, I need it at work, I need it in college, I need it when I am creating that perfect moment with that special person, and I need it to sleep. I tend to write about sad and depressing material, but with epiphanies of hope and virtue on the rise, with sarcasm. A lot of my songs set very distinctive moods people say, but in a way there have never heard. My style of singing can be compared to Chino Moreno from the deftones but with my own twist on it in a way. The music I write literally has my tears in it from everything I have been through and I know for a fact I have a style that needs to break through and be heard, so please listen on keep up with my work, because I am getting stronger and more powerful each and every day, thank you for your time.
