Bio

Joy was born in Bronx, N.Y in January, 1982. She began singing at the early age of seven years old. With her strong gospel roots she began singing soul at the age of twelve. As a teenager she attended Fiorello H. Laguardia H.S. for the performing arts. After Graduation Joy became a member of the female vocal music group BAAJ. As a part of the group Joy performed background vocals for Luther Vandross, for his Dance With My Father album. Joy left the group in 2004, and is now persuing a solo career. She is currently recording music for her upcoming project (Joy to the World ).
