Rum has been producing music for the past 18 years. He first started out as a DJ with his twin brother, but soon began to become more interested in the production aspect of the music he was spinning. The first record that made Rum decided to buy his first sampler was Ultramagnetic MC's 12" single Chorus Line. He was simply amazed with the production of the track. Rum has produced several full length albums for local rap groups, Da Lowd Moufz, Lost Soulz, Da Seed, Unseen Click, Syko Skwad, 2 da Beat Yallas, Ill DI, Droop, MMP, and Misty. Rum began to dabble into House music around 1999. He hooked up with legendary producer and DJ Mike Filly, who schooled Rum on drum programming tips. Rum has since released some House music singles in the UK, and USA. Rum now produces an array of music from Hip Hop, House, Down-Tempo, and Dance Hall Reggae. Some of my other interests include, Interior design, Modern furniture design, Modern art, Canvas painting, Photography, Makeup Artistry, Modular housing, Vintage furniture, and clothes, Fashion design, writing in my journal, and living a healthy life. I have been a Pescetarian (like a Vegetarian but eats seafood, no land roaming animals) now for two years, and feel a hell of a lot healthier. Oh yeah I can't forget the fact that I'm an avid vinyl records digger (D.I.T.C Bitch) or collector. The love of my life is my Grandmother, and my beautiful Siamese cat Samson. (Fat Sam for short) My favorite color is Pink, but Orange is a close second. I am a passionate person, when it comes to anything I'm involved with, be it my musical creations, interior decorating, relationships with friends or my soul mate, if there is a such thing? I tend to get caught up in my own thoughts sometimes. Although I don't watch TV, I do listen to NPR, Mike & Mike, Jim Rome, and Howard Stern. I am a very honest and straight to the point person. I don't play games or have time for bullshit or any kind of drama. I consider myself a spiritual person, but far from religious. I am a great friend to many, and would do anything in my powers to help them. I absolutely love my life right now! I have just recently become to know the person I am now, and the one I intend to grow into. I have a lot of friends dear to my heart, and not enough time to tell them all how much they mean to me. You guys know who you are! I am currently single with no kids and really enjoying my alone time.
