The Diamond Bar, CA-based artist writes and performs hip-hop with strong electronic roots and says he uses his chosen moniker because “music has no face.” “Music makes me feel free,” says Jamey “No Face” Jimerson. It is, he believes, a liberator and something vital that exists beyond the individual, hence the name. No Face works with Raz' The Bar Entertainment and has already begun contributing his music to the world of film. He has collaborated with Point Reyes Pictures on an upcoming science fiction film. He crafts his music DIY fashion, using his own home recording resources to put together the hooks that propel his lyrical stylings. No Face is a busy artist. If he's not writing, he's recording. “Creativity is likened to the river which always flows,” he says. His years of rigorous musical training – which started at a young age – have culminated in hip-hop described by some as “visionary.” No Face is focused on the songwriting and recording aspects of his career with future plans for touring.
