Born in Cleveland Ohio this is where Marvin's family stayed. His father who did what he could for his son did not stay in his life as long as Marvin attended. Early in his life he's family moved to Nashville,Tn where his mother made a living working jobs to support her kids. At a tender age Marvin learned quickly that people will make or break you and its up to you to stay above it or fall victim to it. He stayed above it as best he could. Around the age of 12 Marvin lost someone who he loved dearly and this person happens to be his brother Freddie "Bear" Hunter. Through seeing his brother struggling between good and bad Marvin made up his mind that good was going to be his strive. From visits to seeing his brother at the farm(prison) to seeing his brother when he was running on the streets he loved him more then he knew. On July 19 1995 Marvin's brother died of a shoot to the head. This was his turning point in his life. Years later Marvin started getting deep into rapping and learning the format of rap. He quickly adapted to this which he loved. Even when he was younger his mother played ol' school music to rap to r&b. Marvin stayed with it til he got it down packed. He then started writing more and more and then he meet his friend Ronnie Gordon through a unneccesary event due to the fact Marvin and Ronnie got into a fight. After everything settled down they became the best of friends. This is where Tim and Steven come into place. Members of the group 3 Deep at the time now called Gun Smoke Entertainment. Which consist of Yung Rayder,Lil Tim,SLIM K33ZY,BIG NAT3 and Younguns. Ronnie aka Younguns died Jan 2 2006 which was a unexpected even in everyone's life. They all started sticking together due to the face SLIM K33ZY was doing a bid and the group had started falling apart. Marvin finally got everyone to stick as one and thats where they grew very quickly. SLIM's brother Travel had got shoot months later after Ronnie died and to top it off Ronnie's mother passed. It seemed to Yung Rayder that everything is getting realer and realer day by day. Marvin does everything for his brothers and sisters of Islam.
