Overdose Productions splices influences from various soul artists such as Marvin Gaye, Earth Wind Fire, Curtis Mayfield, Isaac Hayes, and styles/influences of producers such as Alchemist, 9th Wonder, Dr. Dre, Hi-Tek, RZA, and MF Doom into a style that can simply be catergorized as intrumental beauty. Been playin the drums for over 10 years and guitar for over 3 years. Got interested in producing hiphop beats about a year ago. Since then, have struggled to transform my music from instrumentals to hiphop beats. Started out with Fruity Loops. Recently acquired Pro Tools and a Korg Synth. Been peddling my beats unsuccessfully in the streets for a few months and now trying to do it online. My names Odie and I'm looking forward to working with any underground artists that love hiphop.
