All In a Day’s Work: A Southern Tale - The LP Release Date: Early 2008 Date To Be Announced [Novemeber 11, 2007 – Atlanta, GA] Prepare to hear an artist that encompasses every aspect of what hip hop should be at the moment. He goes by the name of Ness Lee, and he's unlike any Southern artist you've ever heard! I guarantee that if u take one listen, you will agree that he is the truth as hip hop has ever known it. Local radio DJ's from Atlanta's HOT 107.9 Griffy2Trillion was given his mixtape 2 weeks ago on the street while Ness was on his job and Griff & Rashan Ali proceeded to speak on how talented Ness is on air for two days, even during an interview with Rick Ross! Ness represents the REGULAR dude with a 9-5 job, that just happens to be an exceptional lyricist and all around musician! Ness Lee has a long history in music including a Showtime battle rappers reality series called "Interscope presents: the Next Episode" [fall 2003], 2 songs on NBA Ballers and 3 on NBA Ballers Phenom, an independent 1st album with a $200 budget [summer 2003] that is considered an underground classic that has sold 7000 copies 'out the trunk' and online. He knows the game well, been on the brink of major success but got knowledge that made him step back and take the much harder independent route. He's performed continuously at over 50 clubs in Atlanta and all of his works are copywritten. Please take a listen! HOT 107.9 has already played his parody song called "Aint Buyin No Dranks" on their morning show, which is a T-Pain flip where Ness did all the singing. They also played his single "Downstairs" due to a win at Akini the Black Mac of Hot 107.9's Best of the Best show held at the legendary Royal Peacock. "Downstairs", an ode to lyrism existing in the South, is a FAVORITE of the ATL hip hop performance scene, even with spoken word artist like Georgia Me and Queen Sheba!
