Bio
BIOGRAPHY I, OLUSHOLA A. ADEYEMI, was born on Friday 23rd December, 1966 in Kaduna, Nigeria into a Christian family. I attended four different primary schools in different cities in Nigeria and completed my secondary/high school education in June, 1984 at Mount Carmel College, Ilorin, Nigeria. I discovered my talent in Music while I was in the second year of my secondary school, then, I was writing the Yoruba traditional poetry known as EWI. The following year precisely 1982 I started writing pop songs I was encouraged and motivated by the music of a U. S. group the Musical Youths with their debut of 1982. Soon after my secondary education I wanted to become a trader and in early 1986 my first attempt failed, the dairy products (Canada Best) I bought in Lagos had expired, it was not I alone it was a nationwide incidence as it was then reported in the media. In October 1986 I attended a nine months course at the Staff Development College, Ilorin, Nigeria. I was looking for a job as a means to helping myself out of my condition and to save money and go back to doing business and by October, 1990 when I got government job things have changed. This is because in April, 1887, I was born again and on Friday the 6th, April, 1990 I was touched by the Lord and I made up my mind to work in his vineyard. AND WHY A SOLO ARTIST? In early 1991 a fellow Christian Brother then encouraged me to attend the seminary upon my testimony about my call, and my response was: before the year ends the Lord will direct. I never knew it was a prophecy. Mid 1991 while I was taking steps to attend the Seminary, I was forbidden by the Lord. (latter I realise that would have been a diversion as I would ended up becoming a pastor which is against God’s plan). And in October of the same year I was moved to write nine songs and immediately it was impressed in my heart that I should go on and record them, get it released, and use the proceed to finance my ministry. This was how I started taken steps. However due to my background it was not easy for me, I was struggling to help myself financially and otherwise, more so that I need to develop my vocals. Between 1992 and 1885 I sought for help and in early 1995 managed to set on recording in a local studio which I did not realise due to financial reasons. While I was praying about this and the way forward the Lord reveals to me that his assignment for me is not just to sing and record for Nigerians but to the entire world. Then I thought the next step is to emigrate out of Nigeria to one of those Western Countries where the entertainment industry is thick and still due to my background I have nothing to do to help myself. I wrote several letters abroad to Churches and Christian bodies, some few that replied complained of lack of fund for such purposes. In 1998 I visited some embassies hoping to find a means and in December, 2003 I met a Nigerian who came home from the U. S. He advised me to go on the internet to make necessary contacts and in October, 2007 I managed to make my first rough Demo.
