Motivated by my unsaturated passion for numbers, people and music, being a full time business exec, part time artist, songwriter, composer, sound engineer, vocal coach, record producer, sculptor and author, is all in a day's work for me and I love every moment of it. I have always been overtly of the opinion that my music talent is a true God-given and inspired gift because, despite my inability to read or write sheet music, I am able to compose any song 'by ear' with relative ease. To date I successfully composed, recorded, produced and released three of my own albums and several others for artists including my youngest daughter, Christelle. By the age of 10, I professionally competed in Eisteddfods. Short of turning 15, two consecutive acute laryngitis attacks caused severe damage to my vocal cords and almost stopped my talent in its tracks. Literally left voiceless for more than six months, no one thought I would ever be able to sing again and by the time I regained my voice, what I knew as my voice before was sadly gone forever. But I refused to accept the inevitable and soon after, I discovered the world of composing to be a worthy substitute. By age 30 I had enough material to put together almost 10 full original albums and started developing my voice again. January 2002 saw the birth of my debut demo album with Elfhaven Productions in Johannesburg. I later co-produced a furter six songs with PJ Sound Studio in Cape Town and added them to the above four to complete a full 10 track album. Beginning of 2006 I ventured into international terrain with the album, which I am blessed to say it is still doing well today. I enrolled for and passed a course in Recording Engineering and Music Production with the Audio Institute of America before moving on to form my own record label. My music speaks of love in all of its faces and facets, good or bad, right or wrong. My key inspiration lies in things people say, do and experience because of love. Through my music, I tell it like it is simply because in love, as in life, there are no shortcuts. Love, faith and hope allowed me to beat painstaking odds - more than just a few times. The rest of the time, it always has been, still is, and always will be Grace and Grace alone!
