Music has always been a part of the young Georgia native Damien Pittard who was given the title “DBoi” at the young age of 16. DBoi began rapping and developing his style at the tender age 12. Rapping was an escape for him, and a means to express him self of the hardships of being young, black, and poor coming up in the hood. DBois’ rap style was inspired by many artists of today and also the late greats such as Tupac Shakur and The Notorious BIG. The passion and emotion DBoi carries in his amped lyrics hold tons of weight, taking his audience by storm and the rap industry to the next level. The young artist is extremely dedicated to his career and is more serious now than he’s ever been. Now at the age of 22, he have released two of his own CD’s with the help from no one, and most of his production and promoting is done by him. "DBoi is definitely what you would call a Go Getter".
