Nockinficent Born and raised in the Bronx, New York. Wayne Moodie (aka Big Nock) is a true Bronxnite. Label (Nock) for he is truly nocturnal if you want to catch this hot producer, it will have to be at night, you can catch him at midnight composing the next HOT track or producing /engineering the next HOT act! Nock was introduced to the late night scene in his early child hood, by his mother who is truly his inspiration. The night life offered many different opportunities, some negative most positive. The one thing that captured him the most was DJing on the Wheel of Steel was his first love in music and gave him his start. For a while he made a living DJing but he yearned for something else. Nock has had many individual to influence him in his music career, but one person made the greatest impact, Michael Artis an old friend from high school who was also in to music. Michael and Nock hooked up on a music vibe the chemistry was explosive, they formed a bond and a partnership BLACK STRENGTH PRODUCTION. Michael Artis enhanced Nock's knowledge of the production and Nock gives Michael a voice. Nock started to realizing he had found a new love, Rhyming/Spitting/Flowing and he was good at it, so good that BACHI RECORDS offered him a deal almost immediately after hearing him. The album NO HOLDS BARRED was released in 1999, co/produced, by his partner Michael Artis, every track flowing with lyrics reflecting the joy and pain of his life experience past and present. In 2002 Nock dropped a single MALE WHORE on AV8 RECORDS that he also co/produced, the single charted overseas. In late 2001 he teamed up with HIT SPOT CITY RECORDING STUDIOS in the south Bronx. Nock became one of their top producers/engineers in a matter of months. The word on the streets was Nock’s track were hot, making his services in demand. Nock teamed up with two Independent Record labels producing tracks for their signed artist. Nock is also known for foundering Hit Spot City Recording Studios Battle Friday's, a computation battle for emcees which air’s on Bronx Net Channel (68) 2003 was a very busy and emotional year for Nock with the lost of his partner and long time friend Michael Artis. With all that he has going on, he still finds time to give back to his community, Nock teamed up with BBBlackberry Entertainment www.myspace.com/bbblackberry an Entertainment company that helps to inspires young inner city artists. Nock formed Team C:O.A. which was a Collaboration of some of the most refreshing emcees around.
