Not yet a group they all usually free styled over any beat the could find ranging from movie theme to video game instrumentals. Soon they would use instrumentals from hip hop artists and make mix tapes. In 1999 Smoke and Calybur decided to form a group and called themselves "S-n-S" (Calybur name being S-Calybur at the time). The two continued to freestyle over instrumentals and have fun with what they where doing. Late 1999-2000 Calybur and Smoke decided to take music seriously. Klipsta then joined the two and they came up with the name "Eternal". The name "Eternal" originated from their influence of Bone Thugs N Harmony's Album "East 1999 Eternal". The name also stating the bond is real and they will last forever. The group decided to work on their craft, lyrical abilities, flow, creativity, chemistry, and versatility before entering the industry. A few years had pasted and they all advanced in their own areas. Smoke advancing more in his free styling ability, Calybur in his lyrical ability, and Klipsta in his creativity. As the group became stronger, the trio formed a bond that could not be broken. In the summer of 2003 Smoke and Calybur became even closer due to Smoke basically staying the summer Calybur. Towards the end of the summer Calybur went out of town for Family Reunion in which Smoke wanted to go but couldn't and returned home. The group took a huge hit that summer when Smoke was killed in a hit and run incident. Calybur found out the news while out of town and called Klipsta telling him what happened. Feeling as if they lost a brother, Calybur and Klipsta took a break to get their head together and to become stable. Some time after the incident, Calybur and Klipsta regrouped and dedicated a mix tape to their lost brother. Soon after the duo got back together, Calybur, through prayers, spoke with Smoke. Smoke told Calybur not to give up and to make his dream a reality and to add on to the group in numbers. Calybur told Klipsta what he experienced and Klipsta suggested a good friend Floyd "N-Fa-Red" Bland to join the group. That quickly fell apart due to N-Fa-Red abilities and dedication. They decided not to rush for the new member and to work on their chemistry musically together. Soon Calybur and Klipsta ask two childhood friends Came'Ron "Pheonyxx" Kelly and Leonard "Loyal" Hammond to join the group and they did. Klipsta came into contact with some individuals in the industry who were interested and ready to sign the group, however the group declined due to the conditions of the contracts. The group continued to work hard at their music and continued to grow. Loyal realizing that his passion wasn't with music departed from the group so he wouldn't be a burden to Eternal. The newly formed trio started developing a new chemistry and harmony within the group. During the Summer of 2004 they recorded their first songs "Bounce Wit Me", "Seek-n-Destroy", and "Midnight Temptation". The songs were well received in the hood, but the group felt as if they needed more time to work on their craft. In 2006 the group felt as if they were ready to record more songs. "I Ain't Da One" a club banger, "I Wanna" a slow jam for the ladies, "That's How We Roll" a honest subject matter of life and "Eternal (Forever)" a song about true friendships were songs that the group recorded during that year. They now feel as if they are growing more and more and are reaching their goals of arriving in the music industry. In the summer of 2006 the group was invited to Chicago for the G1 Music Conference. June 30th 2006 they headed out to Chicago to attend the Generation One Music Conference where they planned to achieve their dreams. The group arrived in Chicago with no place to stay and not enough money for a hotel and the group walked the streets and slept outside. The day came for the conference and the group attended and showed their music to three A&R executives. Everyone was feeling there music and style. There they came in contact with Vincent Carroll from Vegas Style Entertainment and the rest is history. During the summer of 2006 the group met a consultant by the name of Tony. Tony is more like a DJ and helps schedule shows. Eternal: Member Info 1. Name: DeJuan Banks a.k.a.
