Mark Bradford, “the little man with the big voice” as he is so often referred to, has been singing since he was a child. Hailing from Clarendon, Jamaica, this singer/songwriter has graced many stages and his musical prowess is a force to be reckoned with. While attending Glenmuir High School, Mark earned multiple gold medal awards participating in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (J.C.D.C.) competitions. He also toured Europe with the Glenmuir Concert Choir. After leaving high school, Mark became a student at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, where he majored in the Popular Music Studies program. It was at this institution that he joined forces with his fellow schoolmates and became lead vocalist for the band C Sharp. C Sharp, with Mark on lead vocals, achieved great success. They toured Europe, China, Colombia, and have also toured with the renowned I Threes. C Sharp also produced and released an album dubbed “What a Day”, with Mark’s vocal, songwriting and arranging skills clearly at the helm of the production. Adding also to his portfolio is vocal work he has done for the likes of Turbulence, Da’ville, Abijah, Alaine, Robert and Jenieve Bailey, and Tessanne Chin to name a few. Now twenty two (22) years of growth and power, Mark is back in college completing his program in Popular Music Studies, while producing his debut solo album, which is scheduled for release in the summer of 2008. Mark Bradford is clearly on his way to greatness.
