Bio
U.T.H. U.T.H. (Un Touchable Hustlers) is definitely a group on the move. The group is composed of 2 members Willie “Wayne” Burton and Michael “M.I.C.” Thomas. Striving to make what started off as just passing time away free styling in their teenage years, to develop it into a lifelong dream. Willie “Wayne” Burton born on June 15, 1980 to Jessie Rowe and the late Caretha Turner in Baton Rouge, La were he was raised. Growing up on the streets of Glen Oaks is where he called home. Always hustling whether working at a job or getting it from the streets he has always been a “Go Getter”. Realizing he could rap at age 14 while hanging around with childhood friend Maurice Clark, never letting go of his dream. Michael “M.I.C.” Thomas born on July 19, 1982 to Michael and Linda Thomas in Baton Rouge, La were he was raised until spending time in Cleveland, Ohio. Always being a fan of Hip Hop he quickly adapted the rhythm of different beats, styles and lyrics. He too rapping at a young age with his brother Kentro Taylor and neighborhood friends always knew that it would someday become real. M.I.C. meaning my infinite capabilities says a lot in itself. U.T.H. a name derived from Willie “Wayne” childhood soon became to be adopted by the group. Willie “Wayne” and “M.I.C.” came to become a group in 2004. The two were introduced by Lakita Haynes- Burton Willie “Wayne” lifelong partner and wife and “M.I.C. sister. Just talking in a very brief conversation one day the two realized that they have one common goal in life and that is rapping and from that they day on they were like peanut butter and jelly only good together or simply put “a movement by their self, but a force when together. They started rapping and writing like crazy. Always determined to be original they wrote and freestyle for hours a day, everyday. They would go to any neighborhood studio just trying to get on the tracks. They finally got a mix tape toghter in late 2005; from that experience even though a good outcome they learned the negative aspects of the rap game. One day while talking to Willie “Wayne’s” brother Jessie “Snook” Turner he told them something that would change their lives forever “do ya’ll own shit” to many it does seem to mean anything but to U.T.H. it was “like rain and sunshine to a rose” a stated by Willie “Wayne”. They soon met Greg “Money” Davis owner and CEO of II Kole Records, who after hearing their mix tape and other material wasted no time signing the group. I guess one can say he had an intuition that they would go far. U.T.H. did what it took to get noticed they sold the 450 copies that was pressed up from their mix cd in little of no time. They performed where ever they could local night clubs, parties and where the crowd was. On September 29, 2007 the group attended the Greg Gates Conference in Mobile, Alabama which made a big impact on their career. Hip Hop, a music genre and a cultural movement and rap, a fast rhythmic monologue recited over a musical background is much more to U.T.H. it’s a lifestyle, it’s their passion. Within a six month period they composed many tracks that would soon complete their first 28 double discs CD of all original lyrics and beats scheduled to be released in early 2008. The rest is history in the making and U.T.H. will be seeing you at the top
