Holding On Current mood: confident Category: Music April 6, 2008: Dreams Live On…The Official Blog of David Jarrod Holding On, my first single, will be released with the companion music video in July 2008 or sooner. Recently, I was blessed with the opportunity to travel to the USA for the recording and production of this single, along with the songs for my first album. Who says dreams don't come true? I am very excited about my future and honored to be working with a very dedicated team both in the UK and abroad. Tony Jo CEO of HRH entertainments (UK), my manager and promoter, has great plans for the launch of my first single and music video. This well-established man has a knack for opening doors and creating opportunities to showcase real talent. I am delighted to have him aboard and anticipate great promotional venues for my music. Thomas King, CEO of New Liberty Records (USA), recorded and produced the single, shot and edited the footage for the accompanying music video (along with Jarrod Birds, my brother) and recorded the songs for my first album, debuting later this year. His talents and ear for the perfect blend of lyrics, music and technology have helped to produce some wonderful sounds on this debut album and video. Jarrod Birds, a dedicated co-producer, my best friend and my brother. With love, passion and encouragement, Jarrod is faithful in his unwavering commitment to the success of "David Jarrod." Always a mentor and inspiration for my music, he is also the drum beat that keeps my music rocking and rolling in perfect time. Linda LaTourelle, CEO of Bluegrass Publishing Inc. and I met during a recording session with NLR. At this chance meeting, Linda and I struck an instant chord (pun intended) resulting in this remarkable lady signing on as my publisher and devoted friend. I will be returning to the USA this summer to begin work on another project and help promote my first album, due to be released soon. Holding On, the single and DVD will be available for purchase through Bluegrass Publishing, as well as download on sites across cyberspace. Through hard work and adversity over the years I have endured and am now watching those dreams become a reality. Believing it was possible; I kept working towards my goals and encourage anyone who has a vision to focus on it completely. Getting up in the morning has a purpose when you have faith and believe in yourself and your goals. It's all about timing, tenacity and trust in the talents one is blessed with and knowing that no matter what happens you have done your best. That's what I strive for everyday, with the help of a loving family behind me and friends that believe in me, I will continue to push forward, tackling any obstacle that comes my way. I hope you all do the same.
