Hailing from Mobile Alabama, Soulja J, born James Moore has been developing his rhyming skills since the tender age of 14. As a young quiet child, James rarely paid attention to the noise in the class or the teacher. Instead he continued to creatively draw pictures and write poetry. He wrote his first song at the age of 15 titled "Itz On Now", which consisted of poetry styled rhymes fueled by jealousy and anger he faced in his old neighborhood. He onced rhymed, " Still over u lamez, jokez, & hataz" thus creating the name "Souljah". Getting in fights and starting a small gang with childhood friends forced his parents to move him from the rough environment of Everette Street and moved into "Da Bottom". But now he's grown at 21, shortend his name to Soulja, and one half of the newest signees of Grandtheftmixtapes, Soulja J armed with a rapid flow unique punchlines, and a story to tell, is ready for any competition.
