Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, a city that has gone through more than just revitalization, Rantz has seen more than his fair share of the real world. While other Hurricane Katrina victims opted to move to different cities, this talented up and coming singer stayed in the only place he’s known as home. Raised in a two-parent household, where both parents showed support and understanding for his growing talent at an early age, Rantz recalls finding his passion for singing at as early as the age of five. Singled out for being far more advanced than other students, due to his ability to control the power and duration of his voice, Rantz has continuously stepped up to claim the mic. With a melodic voice that catches the essence of every beat that he comes into contact with and his ability to turn everyday life into colorful reenactments that can bring words to life, Rantz is far more than just a singer trying to sing. He is a well-rounded artist with the ability to do far more than meets the eye. Inspired by the likes of R.Kelly, who he deems as one of the biggest influences of R&B for his generation, and other legendary singers Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gay, and Al Green, his ability to follow in the foot steps of legends tells his true understanding of his skill. The passion and ability that he has gained for writing his own music also brings Rantz into a lane of his own. True to ballots full of emotion and songs that evoke feeling, Rantz has something to say and people are starting to listen and take notice.
