[b][color="blue"]Saquan “Yung Slugga” ST.Halaire was born on November 15th, 1991 in Brooklyn, NY. Coming from the Bedford-Stuyvesant area, He lived with his mother, step father, and 3 siblings. Life had its hard times for Slugga butfor the most part he was always giving a good life to live. At age 12, he found his interest in poetry. He expressed every emotion he felt through his poetry from feelings he had for a female to the anger he gained from his home. If it was a playstation controller it was a pen and paper when he was alone. After making the move to Virginia when he was 13 writing poems became something like an everyday thing to him. With time on his hands. he began to pick up the passion for music. As time went on his book of poems turned into his rhyme book while every poem began to become a song. Not knowing anything at all about recording, he jus recorded himself with the beat playing using his mp3 player. At this point he didnt share his music he kept it to himself and continued to use that mp3 player until it there wasnt any memory left on it. It wasnt until the age of 15 that he decided to use a basic computer microphone and audacity. His first recorded song was "My Cinderella", he was excited and decided to post it to a site for criticism and feedback. It was all the same feedback, quality, quality, and quality. That gave him something to work with and he bagan to figure out how to get better clarity out of audacity which gave him ambition to add audio engineering to his portfolio. For years he aimed at getting better at not only rapping, but engineering.Now 18, he feels well rounded and still learning more and more each session. He wants to take his music to the next level and become known to a world that he feels is waiting for good music to hit the air waves. He wants to be one of the greatest and one to be able to say he was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.[/color][/b]
