Born on October 5th in a small desert town bordering the Colorado river: Blythe, California emerged Ariane “Air” Stroschein aka Aadyo (pronounced: audio)! Aadyo’s mother is African American and her father is Caucasian – this alliance and colorful back ground allows Aadyo to be directly inspired by her rich history. Raised on an agricultural farm - Aadyo enjoyed the best of both worlds! Being the daughter of a Martial Arts Sensei - Aadyo has been trained at a very young age in different styles and aspects of Martial Arts. It is not just musical with Aadyo – she can beat you down both lyrically and physically! Aadyo’s home away from home was her Father's Karate School / Athletic Club. Embraced with strong humble family roots with brothers: Derin and Derrick, and younger sister: Jayaniese "Jay Jay" - Aadyo truly is a country girl at heart! During college - Aadyo had to place her Basketball dream on hold due to a torn ACL injury. After the incident, Aadyo was in search for a new calling. In October 2006 – U 92.7 blessed the desert with the opportunity to win a job and be a U 92.7 DJ and Aadyo jumped on the opportunity! Aadyo was soon announced as the solidified winner! Aadyo’s energy and positive “lyrical hydro flow” is felt through the radio air waves and has inspired many to be role models like her self! Aadyo is now an on-air personality for Hot Hits 97.7 as “Air” which is the number 1 hit music station! “Air” has her very own show called: "Da Block” which features all styles of Local Artists! When she's not holding it down on the radio waves, Aadyo is continually working on bringing back Real Hip Hop! Aadyo always keeps her lyrics energetic and embraces all females in a positive light! Aadyo’s latest single titled: "I'm Getting Paid" has been played on Hot 97 in New York, U 92.7 in Palm Springs, and Hot Hits 97.7 in Palm Desert! Aadyo has an innovative style to her writing and her crisp; well known radio voice transitions into every lyric she spits outs! Aadyo will be the new driving force who represents female Emcees into today's Hip Hop game! We are all behind the wheel with her!
