MR.TRAPH'S BIO.. What comes to mind when you think of Norristown? A small suburb/town outside Philadelphia. This small town puts you into mind of a small ghetto city. Three blocks from the Montgomery County Courthouse, in a 3 story row home, in a small bedroom on the 2nd floor, an upcoming rap artist records track after track with dreams of making it big in the mainstream. Since the age of 8, when Mr. Traph wrote his first rap, “it was something like a tattoo embedded in my soul” he says. From that day forward, he knew what it was he wanted to do. Q: What was life growing up in Norristown? A: Typical story of most black families in the area. Single parent home, father not around. Mom working 2-3 jobs, looking up to my older cousin running the streets. Thinking that being a thug and selling drugs was cool. But I chose to do music as a different route.
