Adam Emil, a 23-year-old new singer and songwriter in Chicago is paving the way with his hot new sound, and image to match. Emil was born in Riverside, California and raised in Country Club Hills Illinois with his mother, father, and sister since age three. Adam, who has been playing the piano since the age of six, describes his sound as, “R&B Soul, with a little bit of hip-hop influences.” “When I’m in the studio recording, I feel like a rock star and I know it’s right,” Adam says. With one previous album completed with his musical partner Chris G., Adam Emil is eagerly awaiting the release of his sophomore effort, tentatively scheduled for June 2008. Adam Emil credits his musical influences to Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Bob Marley and Quincy Jones who have inspired him to “live life and be great.”
