The band “Without Reason” hails from Pomeroy in Meigs County and the Ohio River valley in south-eastern Ohio. Its members are comprised of seasoned veterans of the local rock scene (Glenn Hudson, Randy Bunce, Dakota Young ) who came together in March of 2008. The band makes no excuses for their straight forward, active-rock oriented approach to songwriting as vocalist/guitarist Glenn Hudson points out: …”We had all come from bands that were very guitar-riff oriented and we wanted to strip everything back to the basics and focus primarily on solid song structure and writing good hooks”.He adds, “We take the same approach with the lyrics, which are more direct and to the point”. Fans of mainstream bands like Nickelback, Hinder, Seether, 3 Doors Down, Buckcherry, etc., will find Without Reason appealing and will want to add this band to their ipod play lists and make seeing the band’s live show a high priority. Without Reason draws from influences from the 80’s and 90’s as well as today’s mainstream, active radio-rock. Without Reason’s members look forward to getting out on the road and playing live shows, as with any new band, touring will be a top priority. Member Glenn Hudson has traveled the road before. In his former band “Glowing Orange” Hudson traveled throughout the eastern US and successfully opened doors to the Midwest for many other local bands from the area including good friends Bobaflex who are now enjoying national success. Without Reason has a certain radio friendly appeal that is sure to please many across the country and earn them many fans wherever the road may lead them. With a pronounced stage presence and a powerful sound this is a band that is aimed squarely at the heart of the market.
