DP aka ibrahim haruna born in new jersey,United but now lives in Nigeria.he started rappin at the age of 8 as lil I ;after lessons at school he was a freestyle battler inspired by lil wayne,jay-z and a few others and then later started making songs,his first song was titled "who am i" off Jay-z's sample for blue magic .DP was then called TRIXX and then in 07 he decided to be called DP "DA PRIDE" although he is still a teenager,DP is already making waves in the nigerian underground hip hop scene.he is gunning for the top spot and is ready for whatever it takes.he is presently workin on a mixtape album BOMB "Best of my breed" watch out![b][i][/i][color="indigo"][/color]
