[indent][u][b]JOSEPH SWIDENBANK [/b][/u][/indent] Don’t be fooled ….. Joseph Swidenbank is not a solo artist …. it’s a band fronted by singer songwriter Joe Swidenbank! Based in Bedford in the south of England, the band comprises of Joe on lead vocals and guitar, his brother Ben on bass, Bud on lead guitar and Pete on drums, and all the guys sing backing vocals. They predominantly play Joe’s own compositions but they also covered Joe Jackson’s “It’s Different For Girls” on a 3 track EP, which received great comments on their myspace page and the fan page. The band love playing live, and gigs have included playing the main stage at the 30th Bedford River Festival which had an attendance of over 250,000, and they also did a live internet gig which was broadcast online worldwide. Their distinctive rock sound has a wide appeal and the first album “ROADS” was very well received, with one track “Harsh Words” being included on a compilation album in the U.S. They followed this with the EP featuring “It’s Different For Girls” which was described as “a 21st century update to an 80’s classic” – they also made a video to go with the track. Since then they have recorded tracks to complete the album “SCATTERED” which they are now looking to release. Apart from the Joe Jackson cover, all the other tracks are written by Joseph Swidenbank. Having now joined the Aspire Music Management roster we are now going to focus on getting the band radio airplay, gigs etc and the exposure and recognition they deserve.
