Bio
My career in music began when Motown signed me as singer and songwriter in Detroit, MI. Initially, I had a partner named Clyde Wilson and we went by the name Two Friends. We released several songs together on the Motown label. There were two releases that went international. One song was reproduced and sang by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell called “Just too much to hope for”. The other song was called” Number one in my heart” which was sang by The Monitors... I started writing and singing with a group called Two Plus Two and another song went international called “I’m sure”. That song is now very popular in Europe with Northern Soul. . Wanting to be with my family more, I decided to take a break from the business. This is when I moved my family to Houston, TX and became a Disc Jockey and Broadcaster. Although I enjoyed being a DJ, I always had a longing to get back to writing and singing. Therefore I freelanced in the local Houston area for several years. This sparked a flame in me that inspired me to write and record my new single, "Treading Water". Check it out world! There is more to come!!!
