Shawn Michael Mitchell (born September 12, 1972 in Baltimore, MD) is an American Rock Guitarist, Composer and Producer whose music career spans 2 decades. He is best known as the Lead Vocalist and Lead Guitarist for the Independent Rock Band, Vertigo Haze. Shawn’s music has been featured in many local York, PA Television Commercials, as well as theme music for Red Lion Television’s “Morning Magazine” program from 2000-2001 and the “Living Well” segment of “My Place with Richard Bowers” in 2000. In 1999, Shawn’s original song, “As Time Goes By” was the #1 song on MP3.COM’s Soft Rock charts with an additional 7 songs in the Top 20. His live performances have been described as “mesmerizing”, with his Lead Guitar abilities cutting through to his listener’s souls. On many occasions he has been reviewed as being the best Guitar Player the public has seen and heard in the last 20 years. He currently performs and records with the Roland VG-99 Virtual Guitar System, using a Roland GK-3 pickup mounted to a Gibson Les Paul Classic, a Parker PM-20 Pro and a Fender American Deluxe V-Neck Stratocaster.
