_**Jeremy Jerome Stoot (born May 31, 1986), better known by his stage name Jay Candy. A recording artist, producer, engineer, and songwriter. The Houston, TX phenomenon always had his mind set on a musical career. As a child, there were no voice, drum or piano lessons, he is self taught. This talented artist never took music seriously, he was doing what most kids his age would do: play basketball, go to the movies, and just having fun. Growing up in the church he always knew that he could "sang". When Jay became older he started traveling to different states performing and getting exposure as an R&B artist. Around the age of 23 he started to find his talent for making beats. Other aspiring artists would call on him to produce beats and lend his voice on their songs. He is that go-to guy to make any run of the mill hip hop song special. But don't just put him in the R&B box he can rap along side the best of them .He's got a mean freestyle and he'll hit you with an acapella.
