Adrian Hayward is a solo singer-songwriter of hopeful, meaningful music. His unique style can best be described as alternative acoustic rock. Ranging from sensitive and soulful ballads to funky, rhythm guitar-driven anthems. His finger-picking style is owed to his early classical training. Based in the West Country, Adrian is currently recording the first of two studio albums planned for 2012 and 2013. Adrian says: “Being able to express myself fully is my sole musical aim. From a young age until 2010 I was addicted to alcohol and drugs and I was not in a position to develop musically during that period. Many times, I reached rock bottom and some of my songs come out of those years. The first song I ever wrote was when I was in a rehab in 2001, searching for a place of freedom. Since then, my music has mirrored my journey. In performance I work chronologically through the story, portraying the transformation in my life over the years. Many people have said my music makes them feel good and brings hope for change in their own lives. I write in a way to help others. I am seeking, and will take, any opportunity to perform my music, to share the journey of hope. ” Adrian Hayward also has a large repertoire of covers of popular music from the last few decades and is available for music performances at parties, weddings and other public or private events.
