What’s up world im Shadow B a upcoming recording artist from the grimy streets of East St. Louis Illinois. I am twenty six old and I have three years of recording experience and two years of performing and promoting experience. My teenage years I began writing songs. I never took rapping serious I was into football and completing school. In 2004 when I graduated from high school I gave up on foot ball and said forget school. I adopted a new role in in in the streets where nothing positive was gonna come out of it. In 2006 I lost a close friend to the streets so I left the streets and started to write again. By 2008 I found myself in the back room recording tracks for me and friends. We started a label (Out Da Pot Productions) and began performing at local venues. I left the label to start a solo career in 2009 wit the help of Antonio T1 Dean. Antonio taught me the do’s and don’ts of a rising artist. I have learned a lot in my two years of performing and promoting with the help of Antonio. I learned to be a successful recording artist, you would have to consistently grind and keep promoting to keep your name as well as your image in the public eye. I also learned that it takes a lot of patience and hunger to achieve your dream of becoming a successful recording artist. I’ve been learning the ins and outs of the music business and still have a lot to learn, however I accomplished many goals that most artist set on the pace to make it in this industry. I released four mix tapes titled Breed Of A New Don, Crackology Volume one, two, and three. I also released a promotional street album titled Don Status which opened doors to promoters that was willing to help me advance to achieve my goal. Promoters such as Tony T1 Dean, Willie Bay D Spratt, and Jessie Howes have led me to share the stage with major and independent artist. Some artist I blessed the stage with is Shawty Lo, Trina, Toya, (Tiny & Toya) Louisiana Cash, V.I.C, LiL Wyte, Project Pat, Frasier Boy, Strange Music Artists Stevie Stone and Kutt Kalhoun, Keyjuan from St. Lunatics, So-So Def New Artist Fresco Kane, Bo Hagon, Project Pat, Mac Breze, and several more. I am currently working on my upcoming album titled DO1N NUMB3R5. I am also planning to peruse a career in audio recording and master engineering.
