Nicki Kris is a Singer/Songwriter from Apex, NC. Influenced by some of the female rock greats such as; Pat Benatar, Ann and Nancy Wilson, Stevie Nicks, and Natalie Merchant to today\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s top artists; Linkin Park, Maroon5, Pink, and Adele. Nicki\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s sound is a mixture of Ambient, Neoclassical, Alternative, and Pop. She has been compared to the late Amy Winehouse as well as Fergie and Adele. With her unique vocal tone and musical style she is creating quite a buzz in the music industry. Nicki began performing at a very young age and starting writing her own songs in High School. Her dream was to be a full time musician. Unfortunately, due to various circumstances things didn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t work out as planned and after graduating from college Nicki made the toughest decision of her life: She gave up on being a recording artist. All that changed about two years ago when Nicki decided it was time to pick up the dream. Since then, Nicki has been busy writing, composing, and recording numerous songs some with aged old lyrics as well as others that have come to life over night. In November of 2011, Nicki released her first single called My Christmas Wish. The song was instantly picked up by WOS radio and played on their holiday play list throughout the month of December as well as considered for several other media outlets. Nicki is currently working on her debut album.
