Carolina Renegade, aka Renegade, the producer, rapper, DJ, and hustler, from Nixville, SC. He is the CEO & Owner of Carolina Renegade's Original Recordingz & Renegade Productionz. Renegade, aka Ren G., has sparked the career of a few local acts, including Lil' Tony, Da Divaz, Maine, and his group The Carolina Renegades. On January 4, 2007, he released his best work yet, "Rated R." the album & DVD, which was executive produced by him, with guest production by B. Knight of the Souf Cac D-Boyz, and two "industry beats". Ren G. has produced music for Hampton County Boyz, Evidence, J. Christ, Young Nice, Souf Cac D-Boyz, and his protige', Lil' Tony. Renegade is sure to be succesful in the rap game. One. Anilorac Part III: Renegade talks about his new album and future plans: This winter, I got to do it. I held off a little too long. I got to release another album, I can't take it anymore. So... I have been busy. , working on this new album. No such thing as sleep to me. Anilorac Part III is going to be my most complete, innovative album yet. I was going to call it "NC-17 Adults Only"; a sequel to last year's "Rated R.", but I changed my mind. I don't think I was representing Carolina right. I had to go back and dig in the crates for this one. I had to complete the Anilorac series. But trust me... Part I and II combined won' equal the amount of heat I steam up on this one. I been cooking for a while on these beats, and I feel like I can't be stopped right now. I feel like I'm the hottest thing since boiling grits, and a few sleepers are going to burn their lips. The old Renegade is officially back. Back in 2005 I changed my name and style. I went from Renegade, the lyricist, to Ren G., the rhymer. I was in need of a relapse to real hip-hop. On AP3, that's really going to show. It's going to show that 4:46 AM, I'm mixing and mastering tracks. It's going to show that songs get wrote, and REWROTE, sometimes twice, before it makes it to the microphone. It's going to show that I studied the greats, learned from their mistakes, so I can one day make it. I dug deep inside to pull out tracks. I wrote this album based on my life, my world, my neighborhood, my state... Anilorac. One of my favorite tracks is "Master at Work". It’s a track with a simple beat, and easy flow. I love it because I show some of my lyricism and word play skills. One of my favorite lines from that song is "I’m a master at this shit, you just a rookie boy/ these other boys pussy as them nookie toys/" I leaked a few songs already, and a lot of people seem to like the song called "Superstar (Ren G. Mix)". It has a sample from Usher's "Superstar", and it really wasn't supposed to leave the studio. I recorded it for my girlfriend, but everybody else seems to like it too. The party song is going to be "Carolina Pump". It’s an upbeat song that wasn't really intended to be a dance song. If you listen closely to the lyrics, you can easily pick out that Flow Hard and I were rapping about guns. I shot a bootleg video to it, but it will get done over soon. Thus all the hold backs, screw ups, and doubters, I feel that this album will be my best work yet. After I release it, if it does well or not, I'm going to focus on my protégé Tony G. I see the star potential in him; it’s just going to take hard work, dedication, determination, and a little inspiration. Hopefully this AP3 will inspire him into working hard, and then he can do the NC-17 album... Who knows...? Well any way, this was your boy, R to the E, Renegade.
