JACKPOT BIOAGRAPHY Jackpot was born Jeffery Donta Lee, on July 26, 1981 in a small town called, Hillsboro, Mississippi, where he grew up. Young Jeffery Lee, was raised around a family with a rich music background, his grandfather George Ellis Lee, was inducted into The Delta Blues Museum Wall Of Fame back in 1997. But it wasn’t until his parents, Irena and George Lee, relocated to another small town Lawrence, MS, that’s when Jeffery Lee became Jackpot, and started taking this music thing serious. He joined a group called High Impact that’s when he knew, rapping was what he wanted to do. High Impact was a group with four members, that was the best of friends, they Performed in Jackson, Mississippi for a company called Question It, that was against tobaccos and later did another show for the company, in Meridian, Mississippi, at The Boys and Girls Club. The group broke up, went there separate ways. But Jackpot, kept on doing what he knew best, making music.  With some money he had saved up, he took every thing he had, took the house they moved out of, and turned it into a professional recording studio that he named VBS (Vocal Booth Studios). Got with a member from his old group name Young Prez, and formed a label, HomeBase Entertainment.
