Bio

Dave was born, and still lives, in Lincolnshire, on the East Coast of England. His interest in music really began with The Beatles, but he has also been greatly influenced over the years by David Gates, Elton John, Yes and The Eagles. He played in several local bands in the early seventies, but soon developed a preference for writing. Now, with his own studio, he has reworked some of his original songs, and continues to write new ones. Dave\'s lyrics have been described as both poignant and inspirational; ranging from the upbeat \"Breakaway\", a message to make your own way in life: \"you don\'t wanna be here old and grey\", to the poignant \"Too Many Hearts\", his despair at tragic world events: \"too many hearts have been broken\". One of his more recent songs: \"When We Looked In Your Eyes\" was written for his daughter Abigail, and is featured on this site.
