Coming from a Guyanese/Spanish heritage, Traci grew up in a household filled with music; from West Indian Culture such as Steel Pans, Soca & Calypso to beautiful Spanish melodies to the main stream music of R&B / Contemporary. Early on in age, Traci had a strong desire to express herself and gained respect for sound of music. Not only did she start writing poetry to one day turn into music, but she turned onto vocal lessons to discover her true talent. In 1998 Traci was introduced to a new vocal coach who pushed her vocal ability to the top. She advanced in 2 years what would take the average person 5 years to reach. Traci not only has a sound of her own, she also has power. Traci's vocal coach decided she was ready to compete with a very powerful song "I will always love you" by Whitney Houston; She was right Traci made it to the finals. From there in 2001 Traci was fortunate enough to record vocals with International Artist "Busta Rhymes" on his Genesis album. She made a great impression on Busta Rhymes for her work on the Album song "Genesis" that she was asked to record a second track "We Got What You Want". From that time on Traci new that her dreams would be met she just needed to work hard to see the rewards. From that time she joined the VOC Gospel Choir singing second soprano, with the choir they performed across the lower mainland of Vancouver, British Columbia. Traci was then hired to record vocals for a production company who sells songs to major record labels. Traci built up a fan base with her performances at local nightclubs in the Downtown Vancouver core. In 2003 Traci decided to make a move from Vancouver to Toronto to peruse her career even further. Toronto being more of a cosmopolitan city Traci was sure to gain greater contacts for her career. March 2005 Traci won First Place Gold at the USA World Showcase Competition held at the MGM Grande in Las Vegas, Nevada. Which was then televised on Internet, Satellite and American Pax Cable Network. Mark Berry of Attack Records approached Traci after reviewing her Demo CD and now with their help and support Traci is headed into the next level of the game! Releasing her Debut album October 17th and marketed internationally, Traci is drivin to succeed. Striving for success and her desire to inspire people is what she is all about. Whether in the studio or in front of a live audience Traci always delivers striking achievements.
